The cross-member supports the engine or gearbox during work on the clutch, gearbox, removal and replacement of engine and gearbox mountings, replacement of timing belts, water pump etc..... The position and height of the Engine and gearbox can be adjusted from underneath the vehicle, using the articulated shoe mounted on a threaded nut. The length of the crossbar, the position of the large-diameter stop pins to prevent perforation of the floor, the mounting hooks and the support pad are fully adjustable, to allow a wide range of applications. |
