Pliers with long, straight, half-round tips. Insulated 1000V. The 2 insulating layers are color-coded to allow visual inspection of the entire tool for proper use in an electrical environment, as recommended by UTE18-510 and IEC 60900. WHEN THE ORANGE LAYER IS DAMAGED AND THE RED LAYER IS VISIBLE = DANGER. - The thickness of the insulating layers is determined by the weight of the tools to ensure optimum resistance. - Tools are designed to withstand extreme temperatures from -20 to +70°C. - Each tool is tested to 10,000V AC and approved to 1000V AC for use on low-voltage networks. - Several checks at every stage of production, in addition to IEC 60900 standard checks. |
