Because of the huge price difference between E85 and regular gasoline, vehicle owners tend to fill up with E85 in unsuitable vehicles, leading to : - engine combustion problems - engine knocking - dashboard engine warning lights coming on - to impossible engine starting The fault codes read by the diagnostic unit do not refer to the vehicle's actual malfunction, and lead to the replacement of non-defective and often costly parts. This kit includes OEM adapters for connection to the vehicle, as well as the probe and its cable, and is intended for use with AC 0800 tablet. Simply connect the kit using the appropriate adapter and let the engine idle for a few seconds. The tablet, in its "FlexFuel" test mode, will give you the exact percentage of ethanol in the fuel. |
