Advice Why do we need to check the boiling point of the liquid?
Brake fluids are hygroscopic, which means that they absorb water from the atmosphere and will significantly lower the initial boiling point.
If the operating temperature of the brake system is above the boiling point, the brake fluid will boil and produce a lot of steam.
The steam cannot transmit pressure from the brake pedal to the wheel and causes the brake system to fail.
If your country is in an area of high humidity. The brake fluid will absorb it more easily.
We recommend informing the vehicle owner of the need to change the brake fluid every 20,000 km or every 2 years. It's all about safety.
