The OM 8050BL has been designed to meet the specific needs of technicians confronted with corroded or damaged brake hoses, enabling them to carry out original repairs directly on the vehicle or in the workshop. Multi-diameter capability: the kit covers the most common standard sizes found on the automotive market: Ø3/16" (4.75mm), 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 7/16", 1/2" and 5/8". Double SAE recess: Allows the creation of male and female collars (single or double flare), ensuring total compatibility with brake fittings and hoses on the market. Secure clamping system: Grooved dies provide a firm hold on the hose, preventing any slippage during the compression phase for a perfectly symmetrical collar. Ergonomic, durable design High-strength materials: Press and punches made of heat-treated steel to withstand repeated pressure without deformation, even on steel pipes. Integrated pipe cutter: The set includes a pipe cutter (Ø3 to 30mm) with retractable deburrer for clean cut preparation, a sine qua non for optimum sealing. Compact "Easy-Work" format: thanks to its flat mounting, the tool can be stabilized in a vice (horizontally or vertically) for maximum working comfort when clamping. |
