Engine won't start. What should I do? Electrical failure or fuel supply? Traditional method : Without using the AC 5112 detector I remove the covers to gain access to the wiring. I consult the manufacturer's manual to find out about the connections and measurements to be made. I read the values by connecting to the harnesses of the components to be checked, at the risk of damaging them. In the end, I have to reassemble everything, and the diagnostic time is 1 hour! How to use the AC 5112 : - Connect the clamps to the vehicle battery - Engine running or on starter action - Place the device's inductive probe in contact with the component to be tested. - An audible and luminous signal is emitted if a magnetic field is detected. - Simply move the probe closer to the component to check its operation. - Identify faulty components without dismantling. - Dismantling only if repairs are required. In the end, I'm done in 5 minutes! |
