This device is to be used in conjunction with the digital pressure tester and the high-pressure fuel kit. With this kit, you can bypass the pump regulator to measure pressure and diagnose any regulator or pump problems. After observing the low pump pressure, simply remove the original pressure regulator and select the correct dummy regulator to bypass and seal the port. If the pressure returns to normal, the regulator causes the loss of pressure. The regulator is therefore to blame. If the pressure remains too low, the pump is faulty. This test is recommended by manufacturers of high-pressure pumps. The kit includes 8 different dummies to seal all regulator ports. |
